RARA School is a new project by RARA, Redundant Architects Recreation Association, a co-operative open access workspace in Clapton, London.
RARA School is a platform for the bi-monthly public workshops, provocative discussion combined with making and action. Hosted by RARA with invited friends, each workshop will be shaped around a themed with space for thinking, making and doing.
There has been a growth in the crafts and design movement in recent years with a proliferation of workshop spaces designed for learning and exploring applied technologies for sustainable urban living. RARA School aims to ignite discussions around the social and political meanings of making culture as well as to take tangible actions with what we make.
